The Steering Committee for Information Systems at the Ministry of Labor holds its second meeting

H.E. Mr. Youssef bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Labor and Minister of Legal Affairs, chaired the second meeting of the Steering Committee for Information Systems at the Ministry of Labor, in the presence of the committee members. During the meeting, updates on the implementation of digital transformation projects and technological initiatives within the Ministry's strategic plan were reviewed, along with discussions on performance indicators, technical and procedural challenges, and the development of appropriate solutions to ensure the achievement of desired goals, enhancing the efficiency of services and the quality of institutional performance. The Minister emphasized the importance of continuing to develop digital infrastructure and enhancing the integration of electronic systems, ensuring smooth workflow and continuity of service delivery amid current situations and developments, and supporting the government's directions towards comprehensive digital transformation, contributing to speeding up the completion of transactions, improving performance efficiency, and promoting the principles of transparency and governance. His Excellency also stressed the necessity of strengthening the cybersecurity system and data protection, and raising the level of technical readiness through updating protection systems and adhering to best practices and approved standards to ensure the sustainability of electronic services and the trust of beneficiaries.
